How we add value: GPTs vs SPTs
The nio kvinnor holding (“nine women” in Swedish) is a commercial business proposal which makes processes of smaller-scale software discovery, consulting, scoping, development, and delivery as profitable for corporates as the scattergun approaches of cloud (just one example) have been to date.
We distinguish between two development approaches. The first one is not what we aim to do; the second is precisely why nio kvinnor is to be set up:
General purpose technologies (GPTs), such as these days email and cloud, and historically, the wheel and the printing-press. True GPTs can be applied in all areas of human activity. But much of what is called a GPT is actually standardised technology which has to be shoehorned using marketing techniques & persuasive language in order to convince a potential client that what they are buying into is made-to-measure and just what’s needed, when actually it is neither.
Special purpose technologies (SPTs), for the chosen business activities that nio kvinnor will be involved in, specifically for the delivery of intuition validation software & hardware architectures of an intuition-friendly/intuition-positive nature.
